Health and Safety
Scaffolding is a safety-critical trade. At Baxter Scaffolding, every structure we erect is designed, built and inspected to the current British standards and guidance — protecting the operatives who work from it, the public and your property.
Our qualifications
CISRS (Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme) qualified operatives
Full public liability insurance — documentation available on request
Working at Height Regulations 2005 compliance on all sites
TG20 (Tube and Fitting Scaffolding) guidance followed on standard structures
Safe systems of work
Risk assessments and method statements prepared for each project
Site-specific hazards assessed before erection begins
Handover inspection completed and documented before structure is used
Regular inspection throughout the hire period
Public safety
Where scaffolding is erected adjacent to or over a public pavement, we implement appropriate measures including sheeting, netting and lighting to protect members of the public. Highway licence requirements are identified and managed at the quote stage.
Insurance
We hold full public liability insurance. Copies of our insurance certificate are available on request. Most principal contractors and project managers require sight of our insurance before work commences — we're used to providing this promptly.
